In the case of the development of new CBD-rich strains, one can use cannabinoid profile information obtained through vegetative state potency testing of specific parts of the plant to drive strategic selection of both, CBD-rich or CBD-potential, males and females prior to the flowering stage.\u00a0 This approach allows the patient cultivator to take generations of trial and error out of the breeding process, enabling rapid development of new CBD-rich cannabis strains and seed stock promoting the availability of this important type of cannabis.<\/p>\n
